You’ll use your proven previous experience as an Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to play a leading role in planned service and maintenance work, as well as reactive call-outs, in domestic and commercial premises across London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the completing planned service and maintenance work on split, multi-split, VRV, VRF and AHU systems at client sites. You will also be expected to diagnose and resolve issues at service and breakdown calls.
The normal working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with four days of scheduled work, plus one day focusing on team development and training.
Overtime is paid for all work completed outside of contracted hours, including call-out demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and resolving service and breakdown calls for varying Commercial and Domestic client sites across London and the Home Counties.
- As a Lead Engineer, you will assist in training and developing the team of 3 existing Engineers.
- Completing planned Maintenance and Service on split, multi-split, VRV, VRF and AHU systems at the varying sites.
- All works recorded timely and clearly to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
- Customer focused with the ability to converse directly with clients in a clear, personable and knowledgeable manner.
- ‘Can do’ attitude with the aptitude to continue to develop your skill set.
- Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
- Positive team work ethic with confidence to use initiative when required.
- Must be accountable, strong time management and work off own initiative effectively.
You will need:
- Five years’ HVAC service and maintenance experience.
- Level 2 City & Guilds, 2079 F Gas.
- Clean, Full Driving License.
- Proven track record of servicing, fault finding and repairing a wide range of air conditioning and ventilation systems and associated equipment.
- Good team work ethic with supervisory skills and confidence to use initiative when required.
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
