The Role:
As an LPG Delivery Driver, you will balance independence on the road with supportive teamwork at the depot. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Safely delivering bulk LPG in tankers and LPG cylinders to our valued commercial, domestic, and agricultural customers across Anglesey and the wider North West Wales area.
- Manually handling and delivering heavy gas cylinders safely to customer storage areas.
- Providing friendly, high-quality customer service during drop-offs.
- Conducting routine daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Completing straightforward delivery paperwork accurately.
What You’ll Need:
- A valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- A clean driving record (maximum of 3 penalty points).
- Good Physical Fitness: The role is active and involves regular heavy lifting, moving cylinders, and pulling tanker delivery hoses across various terrains.
- ADR Licence (Class 2 Gases): Strongly preferred, but training packages may be considered for the right driver.
- Experience: Around 3 years of delivery driving experience is preferred. Experience navigating rural roads and tight lanes in tankers (with LPG, fuel, milk, or similar liquids) is a massive advantage.
- Attributes: Great knowledge of the Anglesey and North West Wales geography, excellent customer skills, and the flexibility to take on overtime during peak winter periods.
