About the Role
HealthCrest Services Ltd is looking for an organised, proactive and compassionate Care Coordinator / Administrator to support our Registered Manager during the mobilisation and development of our domiciliary care service.
Initially, the successful candidate will assist with staff recruitment, compliance, office administration and preparation for CQC registration. As the service grows, the role will progress into coordinating care packages, managing rotas and supporting the day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding of care staff.
- Coordinate DBS checks, references and staff compliance.
- Prepare staff rotas and allocate care visits.
- Assist with care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate staff and client records.
- Support the Registered Manager with CQC compliance.
- Liaise with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
- Carry out general office administration.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum).
- At least 1 year’s experience in UK domiciliary care.
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating care staff.
- Good administration and IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience writing care plans and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of CQC standards.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
