NMC REGISTERED NURSE REQUIRED (MUST HAVE UK NMC PIN & UK NURSE EXPERIENCE)

£21.12 per hour week day / £22.12 per hour weekends
FULL TIME 38.5 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: Nights, working an alternating 3 or 4 night week from 8pm to 8am.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the team at Kingston Rehabilitation Centre. We are looking for a full time, enthusiastic and motivated individual to work nights.
You’ll need excellent clinical knowledge, full qualification and UK NMC registration.
We need nurses who genuinely care. You will be naturally kind, passionate about looking after people, eager to make sure their needs are met and focused on making sure they are happy.
Nurses are a key part of a clinical team; good teamwork is a must. You’ll need strong interpersonal and communication skills as we will also be looking to you to lead, motivate and mentor a team.
Reporting to a manager, your overall responsibilities will centre on ensuring a consistently high level of care for residents, while always following the NMC code of conduct, as well as operating within CHD Living’s policies and procedures.
What does it involve day-to-day?
- Delivering person-centred clinical care, and dementia care.
- Assessment, implementation and maintenance of individual care plans for residents.
- Keeping up to date accurate care records, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Liaising with relatives, GPs and other professionals. `
- Completing referrals to external services
- Ordering, storing and administering medicines
- Undertaking assessments to ensure that care is resident-focused and that the residents’ dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
What you will need:
- A reliable, patient, happy and caring attitude
- Degree in Nursing or recognised nursing qualification
- Registration with the NMC
- Maintaining and following NMC re-validation process.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UK
- Skilled in the delivery of clinical interventions such as Tracheostomy Care, Ventilation Management and PEG Feeding
