We are looking for a property manager to join our expanding team.
Block management experience is a bonus but experience in lettings or similar is also useful.
This is a Monday to Friday role in which we envisage part of that will be on the road travelling to developments, part will be working in the office (Chipstead, Surrey) and part will be working from home. We are flexible on that arrangement but we do usually expect 3 core office days per week.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will be able to take a hands-on approach to the role to deliver our residents with a high quality service.
We view ourselves as a customer service based company and so being able to deliver that standard of service is of the upmost importance to us. Other matters can be learned but the ability to be able to be client facing and in a professional and friendly manner is essential.
You will need to be comfortable talking to residents and directors about their queries and concerns and be able to promptly deal with those.
Travel will mostly be within Surrey and central London (petrol allowance will be given) and so a full driving licence is essential.
The role will include:
- Frequent site visits and keeping a log and record of any issues discovered (and dealing with actioning those)
- Holding directors meeting and AGMS (including the preparatory work beforehand and keeping and circulating comprehensive minutes thereafter)
- Dealing with residents concerns and queries and promptly actioning any requests
- Preparing annual service charge budgets for approval by the accounts manager
- Delivering an exceptionally high level of customer service ensuring all emails and calls are returned within 24 hours (on weekdays)
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and other applicable legal requirements and keeping a record of all compliance
- Overseeing any works or major projects and ensuring third party contractors are fulfilling their duties
TPI qualification is preferred, however not essential.
