Shot Blaster
We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Shot Blaster to join our team within a busy heavy vehicle refurbishment environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of trailers, lorries and other heavy vehicle components prior to refurbishment and painting. The role requires a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shot blasting heavy vehicle components and structures.
- Preparing surfaces to the required standard for painting or further refurbishment.
- Operating and maintaining shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting blasted surfaces and identifying areas requiring further preparation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Following COSHH, PPE and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Working as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in shot blasting or a similar surface preparation role.
- Experience working with heavy vehicles, trailers, steelwork or industrial equipment is desirable.
- Good attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.
- A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Pay will be dependant on experience.
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
