Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled 180 Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in commercial driving, contributing to the smooth running of our operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using appropriate machinery
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport goods or equipment between sites as required
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and report any issues or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience operating machinery such as excavators or similar heavy equipment
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to safety procedures
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery and performing manual tasks
