About the Role
- Deliver engaging GCSE English and Functional Skills lessons that inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
- Provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment to oversee learner progress and success.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
- Work cooperatively within a supportive team to share best practice and enhance the learner experience.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support excellent learner outcomes by helping students develop their skills, confidence and qualifications.
About You
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE teaching qualification or equivalent
- Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
- Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
- Can inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds.
- Has experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English (or transferable experience).
- Is motivated to continuously improve and professional development
