We are one of the largest and longest established suppliers of products to the catering trade in the north of England and the south of Scotland.
Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for a new back shift order picking team at Follingsby Park.
We required 3 order pickers and 1 supervisor for the team. You will be working in the ambient and cold store.
Duties include the following:
- Assembling customer orders as per instructions on picking notes.
- Ensuring all orders are processed in time for customers.
- Paying attention to use by dates, condition of products and packaging/stacking of orders.
A counter balance or reach truck licence would be an advantage but not essential.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
However, we are looking for applicants who pride themselves on accuracy and
have a good eye for detail.
Rate & hours
40 hours per week, 3.30pm to midnight, Monday to Friday (overtime is required).
Breaks are 1x 30 min unpaid meal break plus x2 15 minute paid tea breaks, per shift.
Order pickers - £11.85 per hour, any hours worked over 40 are paid at £12.85.
Supervisor - £12.70 per hour, any hours worked over 40 are paid at £13.70.
