The Role
As a Tax Senior, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget. You'll play a key role in building strong client relationships, supporting junior colleagues, and maintaining the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing an outstanding level of service.
- Prepare and review personal and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure work is delivered within agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Support and mentor junior members of the tax team.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver added value to clients.
- Represent the firm professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- ATT qualification (essential).
- CTA qualification (desirable).
- 3-5 years' tax experience within an accountancy practice.
- Experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
- A broad knowledge of UK taxation.
- Experience using tax software and Microsoft Office.
