Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and experienced Owner Van Drivers to join our team for multi-drop courier routes. This role involves delivering parcels efficiently across designated areas, ensuring timely and professional service. Ideal candidates will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to operate your own vehicle while contributing to a dynamic logistics operation.
Duties
- Conduct daily deliveries along specified routes, ensuring parcels are delivered accurately and on schedule
- Load and unload parcels, including handling heavy items with care and safety in mind
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress or any issues encountered
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and compliant with legal requirements
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents promptly to management

Qualifications
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Must own or lease a reliable, clean commercial van (white or plain preferred) with appropriate courier insurance (Goods for Hire and Reward). Must be bigger than a transit.
- A valid full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A modern smartphone for delivery scanning and routing apps.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role, with a strong understanding of multi-drop deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Organised, punctual, and reliable with a strong focus on customer service standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during deliveries
