Duties
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, storage areas, and dining service zones
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently and responsibly
- Support with stock rotation, inventory organisation, and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Serve as a helpful team member by assisting with general kitchen duties during busy service times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Experience working in hotels or catering services can be beneficial
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards within a culinary setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
