Are you an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step towards becoming a Registered Manager?
We are recruiting two Senior Deputy Managers to jointly lead Doneraile Residential Care Home while completing a structured Registered Manager development programme.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how to manage a residential care service alongside another aspiring manager, with regular guidance and support from an experienced Area Manager. By sharing the responsibilities and learning together, you will be able to develop your management skills within a supportive and more comfortable environment.
Your development pathway
Both Senior Deputy Managers will work together to support the day-to-day management of Doneraile, including staffing, compliance, quality assurance, resident care and the overall operation of the home.
Following an initial development period of approximately three to six months, and subject to demonstrating the required skills, knowledge and competency:
- One Senior Deputy Manager will have the opportunity to progress into the Registered Manager position at Doneraile.
- The other will continue as a Senior Deputy Manager and develop into an internal support manager, providing management cover and assistance across other homes within the Rose Care Group. They will then be considered for a Registered Manager position when a suitable opportunity becomes available.
Both successful applicants will be supported to complete their Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, where required.
