The role is responsible for providing a full range of administrative and clerical duties to the SENCO and Assistant SENCO, to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Special Needs Department (Sleaford and Ruskington Campus as needed).
Key duties of the role will include:
· Supporting the SENDCo in ensuring each student achieves their maximum potential.
· Assisting the SENDCo in overseeing and implementing SEND policy and practice, to support consistency and equity across the school.
· Collaborating and communicating with staff, helping them to understand and meet the needs of SEND students through high quality teaching.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people, excellent organisational, administrative and inter-personal skills. Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team is essential, as are excellent keyboard skills, accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines / respond to changing circumstances. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not considered essential.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience and will have knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. A SEND qualification is also considered desirable but not essential.

Pay: £24,786.00-£26,887.00 per year
