Due to continued growth and an upcoming retirement within our estimating team, we are looking to recruit an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to join our successful and growing business.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
You will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders for commercial flat roofing projects, working closely with our commercial and operational teams from enquiry through to contract award. Key responsibilities will be as follows;
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Carrying out site surveys where required.
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Completing material take-offs and cost analysis.
- Liaising with clients, architects, consultants and main contractors.
- Managing multiple tenders to tight deadlines.
- Providing a seamless handover to the contracts team following successful bids.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience estimating commercial flat roofing projects.
- Excellent knowledge of flat roofing systems, including single-ply, liquid waterproofing, hot melt, built-up felt and associated roof finishes.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and professional approach.
- A full UK driving licence.

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator of Flat Roofing Systems with:
- Must have 3+ years Estimator, Project Manager or Contracts Manager experience in the UK construction market sector
- Ideally will have estimating experience roofing market sector,
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to compete physical duties (roof surveys etc)
- Full UK driving licence
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Confident and articulate

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
