Courier Driver — Direct Link Logistic
Location: Newbridge, Edinburgh (EH28)
Pay: £105/day (starting rate)
Role type: Self-employed subcontractor (full-time or part-time)
About the role
Direct Link Logistic is a trusted, well-established courier company working with major delivery networks. We're looking for reliable, safety-conscious drivers to join our growing team.
What you'll do
● Follow your pre-planned route and deliver parcels safely, on time, and in good condition
●Load and unload deliveries, including some heavy lifting
●Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
●Keep dispatch and customers updated, and resolve delivery issues on the spot
●Carry out daily vehicle checks and flag any maintenance needs
●Complete delivery paperwork and proof-of-delivery records accurately
●Help with sorting and loading at the depot when needed
What we're looking for
● Full, clean driving licence (Category B)
●Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
●Comfortable with regular lifting and physical work
●Confident using GPS and route-planning apps
●Strong communication skills — you're the face of the company to customers
●Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in the job
