Residential Support Worker
Rate: £14.5 to £15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours: Full-time includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care tailored to each child's individual needs, following detailed care plans.
- Support children with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational pursuits.
- Foster positive relationships through effective communication, active listening, and encouragement.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote development and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care routines using IT systems.
- Drive children safely to appointments, activities, or outings as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent support for the children.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must hold Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or Equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS (Children and Adult) – must be on the Update Service or obtained before starting.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or support setting is highly desirable.
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support young people's growth and development.
