A friendly and inclusive primary school in Bexhill-on-Sea is looking to appoint a committed Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to support pupils within Key Stage 1 from September.

The Role
- Providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs within KS1
- Supporting children to access learning activities and engage positively in lessons
- Encouraging the development of communication, social and emotional skills
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Building positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and progress
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting
- Is patient, caring reliable and resilient
- Has UK experience
- Has DBS on update service or willing to apply
- Is confident and able to work with own initiative
- Level 3 TA qualification (preferrable, but not essential)
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Is adaptable and able to respond to individual learning needs
- Works effectively as part of a team
