An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant to join our warm and dedicated team at Hassingham House, a care home in Hingham, Norfolk.

About the role
As a Domestic Assistant, you'll help keep Hassingham House clean, fresh and homely, creating the kind of surroundings our residents are proud to call home. It's hands-on, varied work that makes a real and visible difference to daily life in the home.
This is a part-time role, working 18 to 24 hours a week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning surfaces and floors throughout public areas, including the use of mechanical cleaning and polishing equipment where directed
- Cleaning residents' rooms, including all surfaces and floors, toilets, baths, basins, showers and sluice rooms
- Dusting, vacuuming and washing down all areas, including furniture and surfaces
- Cleaning windows and polishing mirrors, door fittings and furniture where applicable
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning curtains and furniture
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins
- Maintaining the highest standards of laundry within the home
What we're looking for
- The right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)
- A reliable, professional approach and pride in your work
- A warm, friendly manner with residents, their families and your colleagues
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
- Some experience in a similar role is preferred, though not essential, as full training will be given
