Part -Time Receptionist – GP Practice
24 Hours per Week
Location: Notting Hill Medical Centre
We are looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy and supportive GP practice.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Hours:
- 24 hours per week
- Working shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday
- Unpaid lunch break each day
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
- Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing prescriptions and handling administrative tasks
- Updating patient records accurately
- Liaising with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Providing excellent customer service in a busy environment
About You:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional and compassionate approach
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team
- Previous reception or customer service experience is essential
- Experience in a GP practice or NHS setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
