Based in Harrow- Greater London
We are a new team who want to become one of the best youth football teams in Harrow.
We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and qualified football coaches to join our team. There are training sessions every Thursday, Saturday and matches on Sundays.
You will have the opportunity to coach one of our teams and help scout and pick children for our future teams which will be playing in the Harrow Youth League next season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in planning and delivering training sessions and packing all equipment away
- Ensure child safety and attend to first aid when required
- Manage team selections if you are managing one of the youth teams
- Be able to communicate with parents regarding the progress their child has made
Essential Requirements:
- Enthusiastic, confident and reliable
- Able to work evenings & weekends
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Experienced in working with children aged 5-11 years in a sports based environment
- Minimum of 2 year coaching experience managing a team
Desirable Requirements:
- A valid enhanced DBS / CRC check (can be completed through KUA)
- FA Level 1 or above in Coaching Football
- Confident and able in demonstrating football skills when coaching
- Car owner and valid full UK driving license
- Manage a team to play competitive matches
Recruitment Procedure:
- Initial interview
- Attend and deliver a trial session
Part-time hours: 2-8 per week
