Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on a variety of mobile phones and related devices.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mobile phones using appropriate hand tools and techniques.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify faulty components and implement solutions.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing screens, batteries, charging ports, and other internal components.
- Conduct computer hardware troubleshooting related to device connectivity, firmware updates, and system errors.
- Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure optimal performance before returning them to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures followed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of mobile device components and internal structures.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in electronics repair such as screwdrivers, prying tools, and soldering equipment.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, including understanding device connectivity and firmware issues.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electronic devices accurately.
- Knowledge of computer repair fundamentals relevant to mobile device operation systems.
- Skills in maintenance procedures for electronic equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts as they relate to device connectivity and troubleshooting.
