At Westerley we have a vacancy for a Wakeful Night Care Assistant to work 3 days on then 6 days off on a rota basis, this works out at 23.33 hours a week.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The role of a night care assistant is to provide or assist in wakeful night duty cover in the home and support their shift leader in all aspects of providing a high quality of care to service users. It is also part of the night care assistant role to respect the dignity of the individual and promote their independence. A night care assistant is also to undertake certain domestic duties that can be performed during the night hours.
The holiday entitlement for this role is 13 nights per annum which includes a bank holiday allowance. This role does involve working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis, with any bank holidays worked being paid at double time.
