JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver
RESPONSIBLE TO: Assistant Branch Manager
HOURS: Temporary 16 hours per week
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for efficient loading and delivery of fenestration products, mainly being windows, doors, glass and related products, completing paperwork in line with company procedures. You will also prepare goods for collection and delivery working closely with the Stores Person. At times you will form part of a team to help with lifting and installing on domestic and commercial work sites.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
- Efficient loading of products so as to minimise any potential damage during delivery, taking into account vehicle limitations and safety.
- Efficient delivery of products to customers homes and work sites, ensuring the most efficient routes available.
- Ensuring products are checked for any damage before loading and advising of any damage found.
- Ensuring all delivery notes and related documents are completed in line with company procedures
- Preparing products and helping with loading of installation vans to minimise non-productive time when required.
- Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and maintained in line with company requirements.
- Promote the company in a positive manner at all times with a friendly, positive, customer focused attitude.
- Ensure excellent standards of waste management keeping work areas clean and clear of waste.
- Have good product knowledge, understanding and actioning care and attention to detail when moving, stacking, loading and delivering products.

- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Clean driving licence.
- Work well individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and good time keeping.
