Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in Southampton, as we seek an experienced professional to join the team and help continue business growth.
Working as part of our operations team, the Operations Coordinator will play an integral role in the business, providing administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth and efficient order management and client delivery.
We are seeking an adaptable individual who can excel in a fast paced working environment, using their own initiative and working alongside the regional operations team to support a wide range of clients across the world. The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem solver, who can demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills alongside a sharp eye for detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating client orders and communicating effectively with the regional operations team to manage order workflow
- Providing support to the regional operations team
- Working closely with the operations team to meet and exceed client needs and support business growth
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Acting as a liaison between departments, managing internal and external communication, and ensuring information flow is clear and efficient
- Identifying operational challenges and working with the regional operations team to develop solutions and improvements
- Ensuring procedures are carried out in line with company compliance requirements
- Assisting with practical aspects of the order process
Requirements
- Strong IT and administrative skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Robust organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet client deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
- Accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, particularly when dealing with client data
- An instinctive ability to identify issues, analyse situations and develop effective solutions
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working, with a hunger to learn and develop
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience of working in the marine industry or a background knowledge of medical supplies or equipment is highly desirable, although not essential.
