The Opportunity
A highly regarded regional contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Oxford team.
With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors, including education, commercial, healthcare, residential, leisure and heritage, this business continues to secure a strong pipeline of work throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs from tender stage through to completion.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor project budgets and report on commercial performance.
- Produce accurate forecasts and cost reports.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure contractual compliance throughout project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships.
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working for a main contractor.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience across education, commercial, healthcare, residential or heritage projects would be advantageous.

Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
