About us:
Truscott's is a family business and has had the same owners since 1969, which we are very proud of, being one of the oldest outstanding businesses in Newquay.
We also raise money for the Fishmen's Mission, raising over £15,000 over the years just by sponsoring multiple charity boxes and donation tables.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required

After every shift, food is provided, allowing our staff to have one meal of their choosing after every shift (you'll soon get sick of chips!)
How our timetable works:
At Truscotts, we have split shifts running 12 pm – 2 pm, then close and reopen 5 pm- 7 pm, and we’d ask you to get to every shift 30 minutes before to prep and clean, ready to open. We understand this might not work for everyone because of the break between shifts, so this might suit a younger individual looking for work to also enjoy their summer while earning a nice paycheck throughout.
