GDL Electrical Contractors Ltd is an expanding company based in Goxhill, specialising in electrical services for the industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors, and food factory sectors. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Electrician to join our team. Role Overview:
As a Qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, primarily on poultry farms. You will work independently and alongside other qualified Electricians and Apprentices. Depending on your experience, you may also be involved in panel building, maintaining motors, controllers, inverters, and producing electrical installation certificates and condition reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment on poultry farms.
- Panel building and maintenance of motors, controllers, and inverters (depending on experience).
- Completion of electrical installation certificates and condition reports.
- Liaising with senior management and external contacts in a professional manner.
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Flexible working, with the potential for on-call and out-of-hours duties as needed.
- Collaborating with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Working Hours:
- General working hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (may vary).
- Overtime is regularly available.
- Weekend availability may be required.
- Call-out cover is required as part of the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Required: NVQ Level 3 & AM2 (or equivalent)
- Required: Full UK Driving Licence
- Preferred: ECS Gold Card, IPAF
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in electrical work (preferred)
