Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a medical centre.
This position is Monday-Friday 2 hours per day 5pm-7pm.
. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial tasks and a strong work ethic, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and cleaning requirements
Pay: £12.71 per hour
