Job Summary
The King's Trust Team Leader plays a vital role in guiding and supporting young people through mentorship programmes and youth work initiatives. This position involves leading a team dedicated to empowering youth, fostering personal development, and creating a positive environment for growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in working with children and young people, and a passion for mentoring and education. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference within the community while developing professional skills in youth engagement and programme management.
Your role:
- You will be working with a group of learners as they progress their journey on the 12 Week Team programme. From recruitment of learners to the end of programme you will be working closely with a Team Manager and other GMFRS staff to provide an engaging, challenging fun programme designed to inspire and motivate young people 16-25.
- Based in Stockport, you will be at one of our long standing team locations at the heart of a community serving Tameside, East Manchester and Glossop.
About you:
- You will have experience of delivering portfolio based learning programme
- Project planning and budget monitoring
- Standardisation and quality assurance process
- Practical experience of safeguarding vulnerable young people and adults
- Supporting training and education for learners from a range of backgrounds
- Have D1 driving qualification is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Able to attend 3 residential programmes (3-4 nights each programme) per academic year.
- Ability to work GM wide
Pay: £30,024.00-£33,699.00 per year
