We're looking for a Retail & Customer Service Assistant to become the welcoming face of our busy print and branding business. Every day is different. One minute you'll be helping a customer choose the right printing solution, the next you'll be processing orders, preparing quotes or supporting the team behind the scenes.

The Printers is a family-run print and branding business with over 40 years of experience. We work with businesses, charities and individuals, providing everything from business cards and brochures to branded workwear, signage, promotional merchandise and personalised gifts.
Customer service sits at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers into the shop and providing outstanding service.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Preparing quotes and processing customer orders.
- Taking payments and managing customer collections.
- Assisting with personalised workwear and print jobs.
- Receiving deliveries and keeping the shop organised.
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administration.
- Building relationships with regular customers.
- Looking for opportunities to recommend additional products where appropriate.
About You
You'll ideally be someone who:
- Enjoys talking to people and delivering excellent customer service.
- Is organised and able to manage several tasks at once.
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable learning new systems.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a small team.
- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail.
- Is willing to learn new skills.
Previous experience in retail, customer service, administration or hospitality would be beneficial but isn't essential. Full training will be provided.
What We Offer
- £24,000-£26,000 pro rata depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday working hours.
- Part-time hours (10am-2pm) with additional overtime available.
