Join WS Specialist Logistics as a Class 1 HGV Driver (Tramping) in our Powered Access Transport Division. This role involves working away during Monday to Friday, operating low loaders to deliver and collect high-value powered access equipment across the UK.
We’re looking for professional drivers with experience in low loaders, plant transport, or recovery work, who take pride in safety, presentation, and customer service.
Pay & Package
- £14.00 per hour
- Guaranteed 50 hours per week
- £12/day tax-free meal allowance
- £25/night out allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Safe loading and unloading of powered access machinery
- Securing and transporting loads in line with compliance standards
- Delivery and handover of equipment to customers
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Professional customer interaction on-site
- Accurate completion of all paperwork
Requirements
- Class 1 (C+E) licence and valid CPC
- IPAF desirable (training can be provided)
- Experience with plant transport, low loaders, or recovery preferred
- Willingness to work away during the week (tramping)
- Strong commitment to safety and vehicle standards
