We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support individuals in following their personalised care plans, ensuring their specific needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on individual progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety standards.
- Document observations and changes in residents' conditions accurately in IT systems as required.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with following care plans is beneficial.
- IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A compassionate nature with the ability to empathise with the needs of others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
