Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a Full Time Front of House team member. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Handle guest enquiries promptly, resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety procedures to inform guests effectively
- Process payments accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Support the team in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining areas remain tidy and inviting
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, adhering to hygiene regulations and health protocols
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience in guest services or customer-facing roles will be highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
