Overview

Duties
- Remove, fit, and balance tyres on a wide range of vehicles using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Diagnose exhaust system issues and perform repairs or replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on tyres and exhaust components to identify wear or damage early
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tyres, exhaust parts, and related equipment during service procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, offering advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and vehicle details for each job
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting and exhaust system repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and tire irons; familiarity with power tools is a plus
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Prior experience in automotive repair or servicing is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
