Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workshop Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the Workshop team, ensuring equipment is prepared ready for hire to the highest standards. Must have team leadership experience and be able to perform and motivate their team in a fast paced high presuure environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assemble, disassemble, and modify components as required.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Assist with installation projects, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in mechanical work or related field.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
