The role
- Provide personalised 1:1 or 2:1 support (depending on package) with service users who have diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, elderly care and complex health conditions
- You will be required to do personal care, daily activities, and accessing the community, you may need to do clinical elements of care, however training and upskilling will be provided.
- Confident with manual handling tasks including wheelchair use and hoisting
- Build meaningful relationships while developing professional care skills
- Working with service users with differing levels of communication needs, including non-verbal, using communication tools and approaches
