Janspeed Technologies Ltd have been a leading manufacturer of performance exhaust systems since 1962. We are looking for an experienced CNC tube manipulator to run our bend section. This is a great opportunity to join our growing, thriving team in Salisbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have experience with CNC programming and tool setting of high-capacity Tube Bending machines.
- Perform setup of tools, bending dies, clamps, mandrels, on machine to ensure accurate tube bends.
- Have a proven ability to operate precision measuring devices such as tape measures and callipers.
- Carry out first-off inspections and routine quality checks.
- Be able to identify potential issues and problem solve.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Perform self-inspection of finished product to ensure accuracy, and consistency is maintained of all parts in accordance with the drawings.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes.
- Assist with training and development of team members.
- Lead all health and safety activities within the team.
Experience and background desired for this position:
- Previous experience of CNC/Tube manipualting required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience desirable.
- Experience of CNC measuring or using a Faro arm desirable.
