Smart Kids Nursery is looking for caring, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as SEN Early Years Apprentices across our Aston and Digbeth branches.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while working towards a fully funded Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
You'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced practitioners, and gain the skills and knowledge needed to build a rewarding career in Early Years and SEN support.
Your Role:
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their daily learning and development.
- Assist in planning and delivering fun, engaging activities following the EYFS Framework.
- Encourage children's communication, confidence, independence and social development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Complete your Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship alongside your practical training.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
- Caring, patient, enthusiastic and reliable.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths is preferred (apprenticeship eligibility rules apply).
