Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Taproom Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling Beerhall. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge beverage service and cellar management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing team performance, event preparation and service, and upholding the organisation’s reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily taproom activities to ensure smooth operation.
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Oversee serving processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
- Assist with organising and managing stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training where necessary, and support team development initiatives.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the taproom area in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Manage reservations, and point-of-sale operations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Previous serving or hospitality experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
