About the Role
Trinity Healthcare Plus Ltd is looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Live-In Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes.
As a Live-In Carer, you will play an important role in helping a client remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible in their own familiar surroundings.
You will provide one-to-one support based on the individual’s needs, preferences, lifestyle and agreed care plan. The role is about more than providing care — it is about building trust, providing companionship and supporting each client to maintain their dignity, choices, routines and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the individual client’s assessed needs and care plan, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support.
- Supporting clients to maintain their interests, hobbies and relationships.
- Assisting with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
- Supporting with eating, drinking, nutrition and hydration.
- Preparing meals in line with dietary requirements and personal preferences.
- Supporting mobility, transfers and the safe use of mobility equipment where appropriately trained.
- Providing medication prompting or assistance where this forms part of the care plan and you have the appropriate training.
- Supporting clients with their morning and bedtime routines.
- Providing agreed night-time support.
- Carrying out light household duties such as laundry, ironing, cleaning, tidying and changing bed linen.
- Shopping for food and essential household items where agreed.
- Observing and reporting changes in the client’s health, wellbeing, mobility, behaviour or general condition.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Working professionally with family members, other carers and healthcare professionals.
- Following safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and care-plan requirements.
- Respecting the client’s home, privacy, personal space and belongings.
- Promoting independence and encouraging clients to do as much as they can safely do for themselves.
All care must be delivered within your training, competence and the client’s agreed care plan.

Relevant training may include moving and handling, medication, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, first aid, dementia care, continence care, pressure-area care, nutrition and hydration, and emergency procedures, depending on the client’s needs.
Live-In Working Arrangement
This is a genuine live-in care role, meaning you will reside in the client’s home for the agreed period.
Your living and sleeping arrangements, duties, breaks, rest periods and night-time responsibilities will be agreed according to the client’s assessed needs and the care arrangement.
You will be provided with appropriate opportunities for rest and personal time, and you are not expected to work continuously without appropriate rest.
You will also be expected to respect the client’s home, household rules, privacy and personal space while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
