We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Deputy Manager to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily nursery operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development
- Lead and motivate nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare and maintain a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies to create a secure environment for children and staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing concerns promptly
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff to foster professional growth
- Maintain accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and health information
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience within early childhood education or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working directly with children in day nurseries or preschools
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of care and safety
- Experience working within regulated day nursery environments is highly desirable
- Experience with SEN and DSL.

Pay: £33,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
