Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection
- Offer knowledgeable advice on merchandise, including features and benefits
- Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and organise merchandise displays
- Handle customer enquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette
- Assist in organising promotional events and seasonal displays
- Ensure the sales floor remains clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
- Support team members in achieving sales targets and organisational goals
Skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian or additional languages is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Excellent organisational skills to manage stock and maintain visual standards
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
- Good time management to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance customer experience and sales performance
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone
