Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Support meal assembly and presentation according to established standards
- Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
- Help with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in dish quality
- Assist in organising ingredients and stock to optimise kitchen efficiency
- Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring proper presentation and portion control
- Support the team during catering events or special functions as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service operations
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
