S.A.M. Creations is a London-based tailoring and garment manufacturing company. We work with a wide range of clients, including designers from London Fashion Week, businesses across different industries, and members of our local community. As no two projects are the same, our work is varied, interesting and fast-paced.
We are looking for an experienced Fabric Cutter to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cut fabrics from patterns and templates for garment production.
- Carry out cutting using a band knife, as well as other cutting equipment such as rotary cutters, straight knives and hand shears where required.
- Prepare and lay fabrics for both sampling and bulk production.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Help keep the cutting area organised, safe and efficient.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a fabric cutter within the garment industry, or relevant transferable experience.
- Confidence using a band knife and experience with other cutting equipment would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of garment patterns and fabric handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Experience:
- Cutting garments: 3 years (preferred)
