We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Sports Massage Therapist to join our growing team at S11 Reformer Pilates & Health Hub in Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new, modern health hub that brings together sports massage, physiotherapy and Reformer Pilates under one roof.
Our aim is to help people move better, recover from injury, improve performance and continue doing the activities they love.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about working with active people and who wants the opportunity to build and develop their own client base within a supportive, professional environment.
The Role
You'll provide high-quality sports massage treatments to a varied client base, supporting clients with muscle tightness, recovery, movement and performance.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from recreational exercisers and gym-goers to runners, athletes and people looking to maintain their general mobility and wellbeing.
The position initially offers a minimum of 4 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase your hours as your client base and demand grow.
You will have the freedom to develop your own approach and specialist interests while working alongside our physiotherapy and Reformer Pilates team.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- A recognised Sports Massage Therapy qualification.
- Appropriate professional insurance and qualifications to work independently.
- Experience providing sports massage treatments in a professional setting.
- A good understanding of anatomy, movement and soft-tissue techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, friendly and client-centred approach.
- The confidence to work independently and manage your own appointments.
- A genuine interest in exercise, sport, movement and helping people stay active.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with an interest in growing your own client base.
Desirable
- Experience working with athletes or recreationally active clients.
- Additional qualifications in soft-tissue therapy, rehabilitation or exercise.
- Experience working in private practice.
- An interest in Reformer Pilates, strength training or rehabilitation.
