Overview
Subcontract Maintenance Teams for reactive maintenance works throughout Scotland.
Candidates should be based within Central Belt but willing to travel anywhere in Scotland with nights out.
We are looking for reliable sub contractors operating as 2-person teams to carry out reactive maintenance works in supermarkets across Scotland.
Work is offered on a CIS subcontract basis, paid at a team rate of £37 per hour.
Night works may be required depending on site needs.
A company vehicle may be available if required, although own van preferred.
Typical Works Include but are not limited too:
- Minor roof and gutter repairs (roof leak experience essential)
- Floor tile replacements
- Painting and wall repairs
- Minor tarmac / pothole repairs
- Paving and external works
- Bollard and crash protection installs
- Brickwork and small construction works
- Trolley bay installation
- Drainage works
- Pest-proofing works (brush strips, bird spikes)
- Welding experience desirable but not essential
- Carpentry experience desirable but not essential
What We’re Looking For:
- An established 2-person team (1 skilled operative + 1 assistant)
- Proven experience in reactive maintenance, especially roof leaks
- Own van preferred and own tools required
- Ability to provide photo evidence of works for job reporting
- Good communication with our office team
- Professional approach and appearance when working in live retail environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in Central Belt
Payment & Work:
- £37 per hour team rate (CIS)
- Reactive call-out work
- Travel time paid after the first hour each way (subject to agreement)
- Work offered on a job-by-job basis
