About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Practitioner to join our friendly team, supporting children aged 4–11 years in our Breakfast Club and After School Club provision.
This is a rewarding role where you will help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment that supports children’s wellbeing, independence and enjoyment outside of the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 4–11 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, sports, games and free play.
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks and breakfast in line with food hygiene standards.
- Support positive behaviour using consistent and nurturing approaches.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate registers and records as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children aged 4–11 years (school or childcare setting).
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (desirable but not essential).
- A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to train).
