Jessetts Gardening is looking for an experienced gardener to join our established team, maintaining a portfolio of high quality private gardens and residential properties across West Berkshire.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys proper horticulture , plant care, pruning, borders and seasonal work, not just routine grounds maintenance.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Maintaining a varied portfolio of private gardens
Pruning shrubs, roses and perennials to a high standard
Caring for established borders and planting schemes
Lawn care and general garden maintenance
Working independently on sites, with support when needed
Using garden machinery safely and competently
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 2 years professional gardening experience
Good plant knowledge and confidence working with herbaceous borders and shrubs
Full, clean UK driving licence
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
Formal horticultural qualification (eg. RHS Level 2) or equivalent practical experience
Machinery tickets (hedge trimmers, mowers, chainsaw etc.)
PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates
First Aid at Work
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary £30,000 – £33,000, dependent on experience.
