Blackburn Skips Ltd are looking for a CLASS 2 HGV Driver - Skip Loader to join our dedicated team.
We are a well established waste management and skip hire company based in Burnley with a sister site based in Kelbrook. Established in 2014 our company has seen extensive growth and therefore are investing in our team of professional drivers. We employ over 40 members of staff and are expanding rapidly.
ROLE:
- Class 2 Skip Loader to work within the local and surrounding areas
- Delivery, Exchange and Collection of skips. From RORO to small 2 yard skips
- Responsible for making sure all loads are secure and safe
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete defect reports
- Completion of digital paperwork - (easy to use hand held device)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Full clean driving licence
- Class 2 Skip Driver experience is preferable; however training will be provided for the right candidate
- CPC required
- Hold a digital tacho card
- Available to work overtime where required
- Immediate start
- You must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and self motivated
HOURS:
- Guarenteed 40hrs per week
- 40-50 hour week potential
- Overtime where required
SALARY:
- £15.00 per hour + opportunity to earn bonus scheme paid 4 weekly
- Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week
